So thrilled to be back to the stunning sanctuary at St. Andrew's Wesley United in Vancouver for a very memorable jazz vespers. With the theme of Truth and Reconciliation my songs fit in so well, asking important questions like How do we love? How do we forgive and trust. How can we do the best and nurture the best parts of ourselves?
Rev. Gary Paterson always delivers a stirring service and with 7 of my songs shared within the hour of reflection…it sure is a wonderful place for me. I've had the pleasure of performing annually for these vespers for well over a decade. So many of the congregation were thrilled for my return and went home so happy to have my new songs in hand. It was exactly where I needed to be.
Since the booking came in short notice from a cancelation, I had to hustle to put a trio together. It was a real treat to be back on stage with my friend Jane Milliken on piano, who just happened to be between contracts with the Princess Cruise Line and the very talented Finn Manniche on cello.
Already looking forward to the next time….which should be in a year or so.
ANNOUNCEMENT - May 16th/2025 I will play the Trinity Grace United in Vancouver for the first time. They hold their vespers on friday evenings 7:30 - 8:30
