Luke Wallace is a fairly new musical crush for me. A songwriter that I have had the pleasure of hosting in my garden twice already. His reputation came to me via my buddy Oliver Swain who insisted that I check him out as we were “cut from the same cloth” Well I did just that when he came to the coast as a guest in the travelling CBC show Stories and Songs with Grant Lawrence. I was instantly blown away by Luke's ability to engage the entire audience in song. His charm and intelligence were obvious from the get go and I'm thrilled to support his newest collection of songs in his upcoming CD release The Dandelion Resistance.
I will share an opening set alongside the amazing Andy Feilding who I have been wanting to collaborate with for some time now. This is the perfect opportunity to share a few of my soul songs in celebration of Luke's fabulous new album.
Friday, Nov 1 @ The WISE Hall in East Vancouver. Its a 7-10pm dealio and $25 tickets can be purchased through EventBrite. Luke will be backed by and band and the People's Choice Choir. Promises to be a wonderful heart opening night of song.
