I'm looking forward to joining “forces” with past colleague and friend Dave Hickey on May the 4th to create a sonic sound journey together. In collaboration, I will add improvised vocals to the full harmonics of Dave's Quartz Crystal Bowls, Persian Santoors Paiste Planet Symphonic Gongs and Harmonic.
Dave and I go back well over 30 yrs when he played the role as official "taper" for my then Grateful Dead inspired original project The Fat Cats. As a huge fan and in true Deadhead fashion, Dave recorded every live show making copies to share and trade at the next shows. He was passionate about our music and though I left that scene many years ago…I was grateful for his dedication.
Many years later we have reconnected to explore something new together. Dave travels North America with his Crystal Journey and will stop in Gibsons for one evening of sound medicine and good vibes.
