Get ready for the 2nd annual Sunshine Shakedown. Last summer we moved my wonderful Grateful Dead Tribute GD/BC out of our garden and into the Roberts Creek Hall for the first ever Sunshine Shakedown. The idea is a 2 day celebration for the jam-band scene always featuring both GD/BC and Buddy & the Scarecrow. We sprinkle in some more talented friends and we all shake it down for a couple days of music and community.
Friday June 7th - GDBC will be playing with Mark Crissinger performing Jerry Garcia tunes plus more!
Saturday June 8th - GDBC, Buddy and the Scarecrow, Billy Hillpickers Band, Mark Crissinger and Deanna Knight! kicking off in the parking lots with music, vendor and food trucks :)

HERSTORY - My days playing this extensive songbook started back in the early 90's with a trio called Jackstraw and quickly morphed into a very active 6 piece FatCats of which I booked and managed for over 3 yrs. We squeezed out a CD and played non-stop every wknd all over southern Ontario. The FatCats gained a fast and “dead”icated following all in the days before email, newsletters and social media. It was a great thrill to see how quickly the band became the “go to” source of Grateful dead music for this passionate community.
